Via Wikipedia: MercyMe is a contemporary Christian music band formed in 1994 in Edmond, Oklahoma. The group includes lead vocalist Bart Millard, percussionist Robby Shaffer, bassist Nathan Cochran, and guitarists Michael Scheuchzer and Barry Graul. They gained widespread recognition with the crossover hit “I Can Only Imagine,” which propelled their debut album *Almost There* to triple platinum status.
