Via Wikipedia: Tourniquet was an American Christian metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1990 by Ted Kirkpatrick, Guy Ritter, and Gary Lenaire. Known for their fusion of thrash, progressive, and neoclassical metal, they also incorporated classical and world music influences. Tourniquet released ten studio albums and earned six GMA Dove Award nominations. Their 1992 album *Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance* was named “Favorite Album of the 1990s” by HM Magazine readers. The band disbanded after Kirkpatrick’s death in 2022, but former members have continued performing under the name *Stop the Bleeding*.
