Via Wikipedia: DC Talk was a Christian rap and rock trio formed in 1987 at Liberty University by Toby McKeehan, Michael Tait, and Kevin Max. They released five studio albums, including *Jesus Freak* (1995), which redefined Christian music with its fusion of grunge, hip-hop, and rock. The group went on hiatus in 2000, with members pursuing solo careers. Occasional reunions and anniversary releases have kept their legacy alive as one of the most influential acts in Christian music history.
